Elevating the Developer Experience
Amid the “great resignation,” with headcount and hiring buffeted by the pandemic, many firms are beginning to invest in better developer experiences to enhance recruitment, retention, and competitiveness.
In March 2022, VMware commissioned Forrester Consulting to evaluate the correlation between the developer experience and business outcomes. Forrester surveyed 651 IT/engineering leaders and line-of-business leaders in large enterprises across the U.S. and gathered their findings in this report.
Here’s a sample of what the survey results found:
